// Executive Overview
A real-time restaurant management backend developed in Go. FeastOS synchronizes kitchen ticket dispatches, table status tracking, and inventory updates across multi-outlet networks.
The Challenge
Synchronizing ticket updates between local POS terminals and kitchen screens suffered from connection drops and high websocket propagation delays, causing order delivery bottlenecks during peak operational hours.
Our Engineering Solution
Implemented a lightweight Go microservice suite communicating over gRPC. By utilizing Redis pub-sub channels to broadcast real-time state changes, we achieved sub-20ms synchronization across restaurant devices while keeping resource usage on local terminal hardware extremely low.
